St. Gabriel’s Primary School would like to invite applicants to operate a Western Food Stall (Halal). Please forward the completed form to the school.
Western Stall (Halal)
1. Applicants must meet the following criteria:
a. Must be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR) for stallholder and stall assistant.
b. Able to provide food that meet the health/nutritional standards set by the Health Promotion Board in the “Healthy Eating in Schools Programme” and carry the Healthier Choice Symbol/ Healthier Snack Symbol logo.
c. Able to provide good service and quality food at reasonable prices.
d. Able to observe a high standard of food and personal hygiene.
e. Be in personal attendance at the stall during operating hours.
f. Preferably possess some catering experience or experience in running a school canteen stall.
g. Before operating the stall, both applicant and stall assistant(s) must pass the Basic Food Hygiene Course administered by the Singapore Food Agency (SFA). The applicant will then be required to apply for a food stall license from SFA.
h. Applicant must be either a Muslim or a non-Muslim with Halal Certification.
i. Able to provide good service and quality food with prices determined in consultation with the school.
j. Able to provide cooked food that meets the health / nutritional standards set by the Health Promotion Board (HPB) under the "Healthy Meals in Schools Programme (HMSP)" guidelines (see [link](https://www.hpb.gov.sg/schools/school-programmes/healthy-meals-in-schools-programme)).
k. Healthy and fit to operate the stall.
2. Interested applicants, please complete the Application Form:

a. Completed Application Form
b. One recent passport size photograph
c. One photocopy of the NRIC (front & back)
d. A proposed menu list and prices of items to be sold.
e. Photocopy of certificates of relevant courses attended, such as Basic Food Hygiene Course & Basic Food Hygiene Course(Refresher).
4. Please note that only shortlisted applicants will be notified to come for interview. Applicants are required to prepare your proposed dishes for food tasting at your own expense in the school. Late/incomplete applications will not be considered.

Some examples of cuisines/menus that our school is looking for are:
- Thai cuisine (halal) OR;
- Korean cuisine (halal) OR;
- Mediterranean cuisine (halal) OR;
- Indian cuisine (halal) OR;
- Western cuisine (halal) OR;
- Japanese cuisine (halal) OR;
Halal Menu - Thai / Korean / Mediterranean / Indian / Western / Japanese
